"When June 16, 2009 roles around, it will conclude a very, very long road to retail for Ghostbusters: The Video Game. After bouncing back and forth like a frenetic stream from a proton pack, the game will finally be released on the aforementioned date in North America and three days later elsewhere worldwide.
Of course, the date coincides with the now-legendary flick's 25th anniversary and simultaneous release of the film on Blu-ray Disc. So, you probably already know a ton about what the game is SUPPOSED to offer, but come June, we'll find out if it can even begin to live up to the hype.
The official Ghostbusters: The Video Game site is awaiting actual content so there's nothing to see there now, but we'll keep you posted on when it goes live as the PR engine behind the game starts to rev up."
